AGE REQUIREMENT
Our dance courses are geared towards adult learning and the majority of our students are aged 20+. However children aged 12+ are able to participate online if accompanied by a guardian (please complete enrolment in guardian/parent’s name).
ONLINE DANCE – MEDICAL PRECAUTIONS
Not all exercises are suitable for everyone, and this or any other exercise program may result in injury. Certain special cautions may apply to individuals who are pregnant, injured, disabled, or have special issues regarding health and/or physical condition. You must be in suitable physical health to undertake these online classes. You understand the risks inherent to dance and fully assume those risks and/or have sought medical advice prior to starting class. You hereby release Studio J Dance and its teachers from liability for injuries sustained while participating in any dance classes, rehearsals or workshops.
To reduce risk of injury, never force or strain during exercise. If you experience pain or discomfort during exercise, stop immediately and consult your doctor.
Ensure you have a safe area to dance in, with sufficient space, no slippery surfaces or tripping hazards.
We are not responsible for the health & safety of anyone participating in our online dance classes. If you engage in this online program, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself, and agree to release and discharge Studio J Dance from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of our online dance activities.
