Covid Guidelines

Welcome back Studio J fam!!! We’re so happy to be open and seeing you again! We are complying with regulations as provided by the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) & the Victorian Government. These measures include:

Changes to class & enrollments:

  • Density quotient of one student per 2 sqm
  • Face masks are no longer required indoors, unless you prefer to keep it on.
  • Course registration is required in advance. Sorry, no enrolments accepted onsite.
  • At this stage, we are not permitting in-studio trial classes. However, we can share a digital class recording from a previous term, to give you a general idea of the class

  • Cleaning, Hygiene and Social Distancing:

  • Extra cleaning routines will be in place. We will be disinfecting all commonly ‘touched’ areas (door handles, bathrooms, kitchen facilities, tables, light switches).
  • Face masks are no longer required indoors, unless you prefer to keep it on.
  • We will have hand sanitising stations set up for you so please disinfect upon arrival.
    Class arrival & catch ups:

  • Please do not arrive earlier than 5 minutes before your class time. After-class catch ups are encouraged downstairs, either with the awesome folk at Mr Roman, or The Richmond Social. The local bars & cafes would LOVE to have your support.
  • Please bring your own water bottle. We will be removing all cups & glasses from the kitchen area.
  • Please do not attend the studio if you are unwell. Our classes are live-streamed, so please stay home and participate online instead.
Our policy in event of covid-19 lockdown & classes affected:

  • For lockdown duration <2 weeks: Classes impacted may be cancelled or moved online. If cancelled, then make-up classes will be scheduled once in-studio resumes (no credit or refund).
  • For lockdowns lasting 2-4 weeks: In-studio classes will be moved to online during this period (no credit or refund).
  • For lockdowns longer than 4 weeks: In-studio students may choose to cancel their course and will be offered a credit for the classes remaining that term, valid for 12 months.
