Online Dance Courses

Live too far from our studio? Can’t attend classes due to work & family commitments? Or perhaps you find dance studios a little intimidating? Whatever the reason, now you can learn Indian dance at your own pace and from the privacy of your home! We bring the studio to you, so now you can join our online dance classes and learn from your favourite teachers.

How our online classes work:

  • Our studio classes are streamed LIVE via Zoom so you can participate in real-time
  • Use the chat option to ask questions during the live class
  • If the time of the class is not convenient, don’t worry – all classes are recorded and can be viewed for the next 7 days on re-play
  • Learn at your own pace by watching the class recording; rewind, re-play and pause whenever you like!


  • We follow Australian Eastern STANDARD Time
  • All classes are 1 hour unless indicated otherwise
  • Price displayed is for the entire term in Australian Dollar (option to pay in your local currency when finalising payment).

Our #1 priority at Studio J is to teach Indian dance – properly. Which means standing by our teachers & classes 100%, no matter what. If you attend a full course, without missing any live classes, and find that you’re unable to learn the dance routine, then we will issue a full refund. Just reach out to us. *For our Dance Guarantee, the full online course must be completed without absence during LIVE online classes. Attendance during live classes gives the teacher opportunity to address any steps that you might be struggling with.


All sales are final and there are no refunds or credits for missed classes or absences.

Classes may be cancelled if there are insufficient enrolments (minimum 5 students). In this instance, a full refund will be offered to students already enrolled.

Should unavoidable or unforeseen interruption occurs to our courses or classes, Studio J Dance may not be able to meet its obligations or may only partially be able to meet its obligations. This includes closure due to disease, government direction or health department direction. In the event that a course or class(es) are missed due to a Force Majeure event, then Studio J Dance will endeavour to provide a rescheduled course or class/es. If a suitable reschedule is not possible, Studio J Dance may provide a credit or refund at Management discretion, however a credit or refund cannot be guaranteed because of the hardship also experienced by Studio J Dance.


You must be over 18 years of age to participate in all courses in-studio. Children aged 12+ can participate ONLINE in all other beginner level courses only (Intermediate, Advanced, Bolly-Heels & Bolly-Diva courses are not suitable). Enrolment must be completed in guardian/parent’s name.


Not all exercises are suitable for everyone. Dance, like any other exercise, can result in injury. Certain special cautions may apply to individuals who are pregnant, injured, disabled, or have special issues regarding health and/or physical condition. Please seek medical advice regarding any precautions/modifications prior to starting our online dance class. You understand the risks inherent to dance and fully assume those risks and/or have sought medical advice prior to starting our online dance class. We are not responsible for the health & safety of anyone participating in our online dance classes. If you engage in this online program, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself, and agree to release and discharge Studio J Dance from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of our online dance activities.

To reduce risk of injury, never force or strain during exercise. If you experience pain or discomfort during exercise, stop immediately and consult your doctor.

Ensure you have a safe area to dance in, with sufficient space, no slippery surfaces or tripping hazards.
