Kalaripayattu is an ancient traditional indigenous martial art that originates from Kerala in South India. Kalaripayattu training involves warm up and flexibility exercises, strength and stamina training, step work, traditional forms and sequences, as well as unarmed and armed combat techniques. Kalaripayattu is ideal for building and maintaining general fitness and is particularly suited for yogis, athletes, martial artists, actors, dancers and movement practitioners from all walks of life. This 8 week beginners series will provide a basic understanding of Kalaripayattu techniques and practices. It is open to all fitness levels and ages (over 7 years old). Please note that this is a 2-hour class.

Kalaripayattu is a 2-hour class and taught by Ramona Yagnik, Sundays 5-7pm.
